Kolin Satamatupa serves as your base for nature experiences

Kolin Satamatupa is the perfect base for outdoor adventures. Available for rent are mountain bikes, kayaks, a Winkkari boat, a rowing boat, SUP boards, and a pedal boat, allowing you to experience the unique scenery of Lake Pielinen both on land and on the water. The route to Ukko-Koli, Koli’s famous national landscape viewpoint, starts right next to Satamatupa. Ukko-Koli huipulle lähtee aivan Satamatuvan vierestä.

Retkeilijä istumassa kalliolla syksyisen metsä- ja järvinäköalan edustalla Kolin kansallispuistossa. Metsä on ruskan väreissä ja järvellä on sumua.

Single and double kayaks offer a wonderful way to explore Pielinen the lake scenery at your own pace. The easy-to-use kayaks are suitable for both beginners and more experienced paddlers — head out for a relaxing trip along the shoreline or a longer adventure on the stunning waters around Koli. A two-person Winkkari boat is also available for rent, offering a fun way to enjoy being out on the water together while taking in the peaceful nature of Lake Pielinen.

SUP boards offer a fun and relaxing way to enjoy a summer day. The boards are perfect for both peaceful paddling and active summertime fun together.

 

There is also a spectacular giant SUP board available for rent, which can accommodate up to eight people – a perfect choice for groups of friends or families for a fun adventure together in the Koli landscape.
